I'm very excited to be doing sketch cards for the Topps Mars Attacks: Invasion trading card set coming out in October! These will be randomly inserted in packs of Mars Attacks trading cards.

Each one is an original piece of art and signed on the back. Here are just a few samples of the 200 cards I will be contributing.

I have received a number of requests from people who missed out on my trading cards the first time around. Since I just realized that this year is the 35th anniversary of Star Wars, I'm going to bend my own rules just a little and give everyone a second chance to get a set for themselves. The cards are still limited to 250 sets, so once those are gone, they're gone!

The cards will go on sale at 12:01am Central Time on May 25th, 2012. The sale will end 11:59pm Central Time on May 25th, 2012. You will be able to purchase the cards HERE.

Spectrum Fantastic Art Live!

These are my new business cards! I'll be handing them out in abundance at the Spectrum Convention this weekend in Kansas City, MO. If you're there, come by and say "Hi"! I'll be at Table 112 towards the back of the hall.

There will be some serious artistic heavy hitters there. Mike Mignola, Boris Valejo, Julie Bell, Brom, Ian McCaig, Phil Hale, Michael Whelan & Mark Schultz just to name a few.

This is the first 68 sketch cards I did for the "May the Fourth Be With You" card set I made. The card surface was slightly waxy, so the only thing that would stick well was Sharpie.

So, here are a bunch of Sharpie drawings for your viewing pleasure. I recommend zooming in. I did these over the course of about 2 days.

For those of you that ordered cards, they ship out on Wednesday!

Trading Card Update

First off... A big "Thank You!!!" to everybody that ordered my trading card sets on the fourth. I was pleasantly surprised by the response!

Art sketch cards are complete and I'm taking the sheets to get UV coated and trimmed out Monday. If all goes according to plan, all orders will ship out on Wednesday!

It's official! The Space Junk™ Trading Cards Preview Pack will be making it's debut this weekend at Fan Days in Irving, TX. If you're in the DFW area, come by and pick up your very own set of 5"x7" awesomeness!
