2014 New York Comic Con Stuff (Post 1)

 

New York Comic Con is this week and I will have a table in The Block at Booth #208!

One of the items I'll have with me is this nifty, officially licensed Mars Attacks + Dinosaurs attack print! It is a signed and numbered edition of 250, printed in archival inks. This 16"x20"will be selling for $50, only at my table!

I will have 75 prints on hand and will be offering the rest on my online store once NYCC is over.

These are all the Zombie sketch cards I did for the Topps Artist on Demand series. This series covered the Hollywood Zombies, Music City Zombies and Capitol Zombies franchises. Carrion Fisher was an oversized card. All are done with ink and watercolor.

These are all the Ugly Santa sketch cards I did for the Topps Artist on Demand series. This series paid homage to the Ugly card series from the '60's and '70's. The Mars Attacks one was an experiment Topps had me do. It was never offered up for sale. All are done with ink and watercolor.

Star Wars Illustrated Commissions Now Open!

Hey Folks, the gift giving season is here! I recently received 10 blank double-wide Star Wars Illustrated sketch cards from Topps and I am now taking commissions. I'm very excited to be doing sketch cards for the Topps Mars Attacks: Invasion trading card set coming out in October! These will be randomly inserted in packs of Mars Attacks trading cards.

Each one is an original piece of art and signed on the back. Here are just a few samples of the 200 cards I will be contributing.

An open letter to Topps

Dear Topps,

I just picked up some Wacky Packages (which I have loved since I was a kid) for 3.99 a pop and all I get now is 3 cards and a stick of crappy gum? That’s basically a buck a card and $0.99 for a stick of gum. With the economy the way it is, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I’m sad to say I won’t be buying any more cards until you either drop the price or start putting in more cards per pack.
