Crazy Bug...

*Update*
Apparently its a Sweat Bee. Kinda cool, huh. Thanks to Webwawa for sleuthing it out.

Check this thing out. It was on my driver-side window this morning. At first, I thought it was a fly, but it has a body more like a bee. It also doesn't have a fly's suction mouth thingy. It had things more like pincers. Any guesses? I haven't seen anything quite like it.

So, is that like a bee that goes after sweat? Gotta bee a Texas thing.

Actually, according to Wikipedia, they are attracted to the salt in sweat. And no, it's not strictly a Texas thing, but my guess is that they probably dig it here due to the shear volume of sweat in the state.

"... bee a Texas thing."
Nice one.
