Staple! Wares

Here are some samples of the sketch books I'll be selling at Staple! this year. The ones in color are hand drawn and and will be selling for $20 and the silk-screened ones will be selling for ten. These are 3.5"x5.5" paperback Molskine sketchbooks. I should also have larger silk-screen sketchbooks also. I hope to see you there on Saturday!

Derelict
No real story behind this one. Just a doodle that evolved into a drawing.

Wayne Newton
This is my crappy caricature of Wayne Newton. I don't normally do caricatures. This is why.
So, I saw Wayne Newton Saturday night. Live. In Aurora, Illinois. Don't ask me about the strange chain of events that led to me attending said concert. The man is Cheesy, with a capital "C". But, he obviously loves what he does and he can pack the house. I bought a t-shirt.
Fun Fact: The Illinois Wayne Newton fan club calls themselves "The Wayniacs". Needless to say, all 12 of them were female and, well, somewhat past their prime.

Devil Girl Stickers
Woohoo! I got my new Devil Girl Stickers in. They came out really nice. They measure roughly 2.25"x4". I'll be selling them at my table at Staple! for $1 each. What a bargain! I'm also planning on having silk screened moleskine notebooks. The silk-screening gods willing, that is.
Sorry for the lack of posts. Life's been a bit busy. I should have more stuff in the next couple of weeks as I get stuff ready for Staple!.

Possum Creek
This is an illustration/logo design I did for Possum Creek Dance Hall & Cafe. I'm really happy with how this came out. I was trying out a new (for me) inking technique.
