Irregardless, Part 1

So, I'm doing a book cover for my friend Brian's first novel. It's call Irregardless. It's really a great book. It's getting published this fall. I'll try and get a little synopsis from him to post. I doubt I could give you the low-down on the book as well as he could.

Anyway... I thought I'd share my process with you. I'm doing it a little differently than I normally would. It's a group shot... (here are the comp sketches the publisher approved)



I'm doing the main characters as separate sketches and will composite all the elements in photoshop to get the final tight drawing. I'll start posting the character sketches later today.
