This is the Grindylow idol from China Miéville's "The Scar". John over at Super Punch invited me to be a part of an online "art show" featuring artwork inspired by China Miéville's books.

This is the book cover version I did.

If you haven't read anything by China Miéville, you should. He creates very interesting, complex and imagery rich worlds.
