Bean Pot Toiz Designer Con Print...

Bean Pot Toiz Designer Con Print..., a photo by Manly Art on Flickr.

With Designer Con just a few days away, I thought I'd start showing a few of the things I'll be bringing with me. I will be with Bean Pot Toiz on this trip so I will have this Wacky Packages inspired Bean Pot Toiz print. It is a 5"x7" signed and numbered edition of 100 + 8 artist proofs. They will be selling for a mere $5!

Bean Pot Toiz will be in booth 717. Come by and say hi!

An open letter to Topps

Dear Topps,

I just picked up some Wacky Packages (which I have loved since I was a kid) for 3.99 a pop and all I get now is 3 cards and a stick of crappy gum? That’s basically a buck a card and $0.99 for a stick of gum. With the economy the way it is, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I’m sad to say I won’t be buying any more cards until you either drop the price or start putting in more cards per pack.

Sincerely,

Jason Chalker

This the sticker/business card I designed for Bean Pot Toiz. We were going for a Wacky Packages feel. Grego and Stacie are the nicest couple in the world. Go to conventions and buy their toys. We were going for a Wacky Packages feel.
